John Shepherd’s months of training paid off at the London Marathon with a personal best of 2:50:18 raising money for Polio research whilst beating last year’s 2.53. Shane Cliffe suffered after 18 miles but still managed a good for age time of 3:14:19. Debbie Kirkman running for pancreatic cancer in memory of her dad was in brilliant form with an excellent time of 3:45:40. Karen and Chris Clark, running for St. Catherine’s Hospice tackled their first marathon finishing together in 5:12:48. Well done everyone.
