On Good Friday, the classic Calder Vale 10 mile race and a tough fun run over 3.8 miles took place. In the shorter distance, Lucie Clipston covered the course in 36.42, Alison Dick 39.36 and Denise Fairhurst 44.18.The 10 mile course is a tough challenge and our first man home was Dave Brunton in 14th place in a time of 68.41, Dave Raynor had a good run in 75.45 followed by Ray Taylor in 77.28 who once again was the fastest V65. Doug Bryden finished in 84.38 with Ben Smithers not far behind in 87.13. Carol Douglass could not be caught in her F70 category with a time of 88.33 and Julie Thorley finished in 91.45.
