The annual Turkey Trot attracts people back year after year for a seasonal mud fest. This year saw 11 Red Rose Runners plodding through the mud. Simon Robinson was our first person home in 37.02 followed by Philip Davidson in 40.14 and 2nd V55.Sam Harrison managed 41.05 with Michael Patten close behind in 41.52. John Hyde topped the V60 finishers in a time of 44.53. Mary Conway led our ladies team home in 45.04 taking the F55 prize. Cat Holden took part finishing in 57.09 along with Helen Clayton 57.49, Sarah Runcie 74.29 and Louise Walsh 74.34.

At the first leg of the Christmas Cracker Double 10k, we were represented by five runners. Ben Smithers finished in 46.35. Sue Brooks ran 54.54 narrowly beating Kathryn Abbott who finished in 54.56. Faisal Ali comfortably beat the hour with a time of 58.05. Nina Colquhoun completed the team in 71.46.In the 5k Laura Houghton had an excellent run in 23.39.

Meanwhile there was the Christmas Cracker 10K . 34 runners ran with Manolo Mendoza clocking 42.52 followed by Ben Smithers in 46.11 and David Bayliss in 46.20. Sam Edwards clocked a new PB in 48.10 and Arthur Green took the V70 prize.
