The Race2Remember is an event to raise awareness about dementia as well as funds for the Alzheimer’s Society. It started at Wyresdale Park Hall, just outside the village of Scorton and is an 8 km trail race for runners and walkers. There were also shorter events for children.
The terrain consists mainly of paths, some road and is fairly hilly making it a scenic route with great views. The event is supported by Alzheimers Society, Runners Centre Lancaster, Bowland Fell Runners, and the owners of Wyresdale Park.
