Gareth Bell crossed the border into white rose territory for the Settle Saunter 23 mile event. This took him out of his comfort zone as he doesn’t know the area and the event was self navigating with 5 checkpoints. He made an error on CP5 meaning he missed the self-clip so had to do some hill reps until he found it. 24 miles in total on some lovely trails, lots of limestone, sheep and cows, decent pie and peas at the end as well. Highly recommend, low key, no frills event. Austin Trelfa and David Watson took part in the 10k event.

The first Badger Run of the season was held this week. A Red Rose 1-2, saw Matt Holmes win the race in 38.56 with Karl Hodgson second in 39.30. Full results on ukroadraces.info.(facebook)
