The Vet 50 mens’ team achieved a brilliant first spot ahead of many local rivals. Stephen Woodruffe, Frank Nightingale and David Parkinson formed a formidable team. Out of 64 V50 finishers they took 4th, 10th and 11th place. The Vet 60’s team of Fred Lynch, John Hyde and Phil Dean third place and the V40’s took 7th place. The Ladies ‘A’ team was made up of Sophie Pilkington finishing in 16th place, Sam Edwards in 20th and Jay Rayton in 70th. Our next three runners made up another team. Paula Plowman , Alison Parkinson and Debbie Porter all performing well. Full confirmed results will appear on the Mid Lancs site later.

Team captains wish to thank Simon Worbey and Stuart Cann for giving out the numbers, also Zoe Cain, Faisal Ali and Anneke Crosby and Sally Cape for marshalling. Without these people the cross country wouldn’t happen.
