Would you be interested and available to marshal at the Manchester Marathon on Sunday 8th April 2018?
Yet again the club have been approached to provide marshals for the event. We have participated in this for the last couple of years and everyone involved has enjoyed it and our runners have appreciated the support.
We would be looking for approximately 20 – 30 volunteers for the 2018 race. It would be a whole day commitment.
The club receive a financial donation for every marshal we provide. In 2016 we used the money to purchase club buffs and these were given out free of charge to members. The 2017 monies have been earmarked specifically towards a memorial for the late Ben Ashworth. We intend to reinvest the 2018 monies in the club to benefit our members.
